How the Klingons Handled Exploration

The Klingon Defense Force is primarily a military arm of the Klingon Empire although there does exist exploration initiatives within the Empire. Klingons have, after all, charted numerous worlds and survey missions but their actions have historically had a different motivation than that of Starfleet and the Federation.
